History
Carlito Riestra and Andy Barlow
The company was founded by Andrew Barlow and Carlos Riestra in the spring of 2010.
Andy Barlow is a professional music producer for more than 20 years and a “foodie” enthusiast. He has been very successful with his band Lamb (they just released independently their 5th album and currently are on a world tour)
Carlito Riestra, has been in the Restaurant business for 12 years. He has managed the Michelin- Star nominated restaurant, The Moonrakers in Alfriston East Sussex. Also he project managed the award winning vegetarian restaurant in Aloka quality of life centre, East St. Brighton.
While living together we shared a passion and love for food and out door events and decided to start a Bespoke Organic Catering company, Grass Roots.
GrassRoots was trading in music festivals, high-end private events and lately joined the ‘Street Food Guerilla’.
“Street Food Guerilla” is a London collective of creative mobile caters that specialized in quality street food from around the world.
There the true identity of Grassroots developed into making proper high-quality… Mexican street food, “Carlito Burrito”
